So, is Vietnam good for clubbing? Based on my experience, the answer is yes.
After visiting Vietnam regularly since 2011, living in Ho Chi Minh City for the past three years, and spending almost six nights a week exploring the nightlife, I can confidently say that Vietnam has become one of the best clubbing destinations in Southeast Asia. While I still think Thailand has the edge overall, Vietnam is a serious competitor and continues to improve every year.
Without question, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) is the best city in Vietnam for nightlife. Its open-minded atmosphere, welcoming people, and incredible variety of nightclubs, rooftop bars, cocktail lounges, and live music venues set it apart from every other city in the country. Whether you're looking for a luxury VIP experience, a high-energy EDM club, a hip-hop venue, or a relaxed rooftop bar to start the evening, Saigon has something for every type of nightlife enthusiast.
